S o T o S p e a k | Ep. 139 | Universally Preferable

Unnecessarily big brained episode incoming.

JF Gariepy recently published a 90-minute “debunking” of Stefan Molyneux’s book “Universally Preferable Behavior” that read to me as more of an attack on rationalism and deduction. I still haven’t finished listening to the critique but I wanted to respond to the first major argument that was made at its outset.

If it’s something you guys are interested in, we can keep talking about it in later episodes and maybe even cover Propertarianism as well. I think that might be fun and productive given how many people are caught in the grip of this… ideology.

We have some loose ends from previous episodes to wrap up too so we’ll also be talking about border funding and the Lewiston school system’s new superintendent.

S o T o S p e a k | Ep. 138 | Anuddah Shutdown

T minus three days and counting until the Federal government once again runs out of money for non-essential staff and services.

Will we get a wall or will Trump cave?

It was reported late last night on the reputation of ANONYMOUS SOURCES (the nation’s most credible) that Congressional legislators had reached a rough deal which included a fraction of the money requested by the Trump administration, and also only a fraction of the wall.

At this point, it’s looking like we’re heading into another shutdown and possibly an emergency declaration. We’ll be getting into all the latest. We’ll also be talking about the DEPLORABLE anti-Semitic remarks made by Rep. Ilhan Omar about our nation’s greatest ally and god’s chosen people, as well as the strange connection between Jeff Bezos, Mohammad bin Salman, and Benjamin Netanyahu.

S o T o S p e a k | Ep. 137 | Show of Force

Achievement unlocked!

A mile long caravan of law enforcement personnel and vehicles have been deployed on the border of Texas and Mexico as a show of force that is supposedly “intended to deter migrant crossings”.

Instead of making migrants go through the trouble of FINDING a law enforcement official so that they can apply for asylum status, law enforcement officials will now apparently just line up on the border and wait for migrants to arrive.

How convenient.

We’ll also be browsing the Drudge Report while we talk about Lewiston and how the city keeps lowering the academic standards of its school system in response to cultural enrichment.

S o T o S p e a k | Ep. 136 | Bolivarian Hezbollah

If you don’t believe Mike Pompeo and John Bolton when they say that socialism is their motive for wanting to do a regime change in Venezuela, fear not.

They’ve got you covered with yet another excuse.

As it turns out, they claim Hezbollah is running a terror operation out of Venezuela. And that’s good news for Sheldon Adelson, the Koch brothers, and other billionaire war hawks because we’ve already got an undeclared war on terror that can be used as a pretense to deploy 5,000 troops to Columbia.

We’ll also be discussing the opioid crisis and wage inequality.

S o T o S p e a k | Ep. 135 | State of the Flip Flop

I know I said I wasn’t going to do a post-mortem on the State of the Union but Breitbart brought some comments to my attention that I must have missed while my attention was divided between Trump’s speech and shitposting on the internet.

Trump apparently remarked during the speech that he wants “record numbers of immigrants coming into the country legally”, which is a solid break from his repeated campaign promise of less legal immigration.

We’ll be discussing these remarks, Ivanka’s new program for keeping women out of the home, and Politico’s apparent man crush on John Bolton.
