If you wanted to rapidly demoralize and disenfranchise the right-wing populists who have been slowly regaining control of the Republican party over the last few decades, gaslighting them into a false trichotomy of voting third party, voting Democrat, and staying home would be a pretty good way to do it.
Demoralization and disenfranchisement seem to be priority number one for what’s Left of the Alt Right. Russian state-sponsored media is running stories about how Richard Spencer’s endorsement of Joe Biden is intended to “split the Democrat vote”, which is of course a total inversion of the truth. Meanwhile, Newsweek and the SPLC are promoting the National Justice Party of Mike “Enoch” Peinovich and Joseph “Striker” Jordan. They cloak this free advertising in kvetching, which really only serves to help make it more appealing to Republicans.
This is all happening over a backdrop of unified black pilling on Trump’s allegedly lackluster accomplishments, for example the Republican tax cuts that doubled tax credits for married couples with children, thereby making it more affordable to start a family — the exact policy the Alt Right called on him to implement, citing Viktor Orban’s administration in Hungary as an example.
The argument appears to be: “Trump bad therefore let the intersectional left have state legislatures, sheriffs offices, prosecutors offices, Congress, etc.”
How exactly does this follow?
For this episode, I’m going to get thoughts on the situation from political prisoner Christopher Cantwell, whose life was destroyed by the media and the FBI after having been invited by the Alt Right to speak in Charlottesville.
This is EPISODE 504 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
