S o T o S p e a k | Ep. 174 | Our Speech is Violence

It looks like I spoke too soon on the previous episode of So to Speak.

Just as I was lamenting the fact that no one had been charged with the brutal beating death of Donald Giusti in Lewiston, Maine last year, state and local police were organizing a manhunt and rounding up three suspects.

Unfortunately, this news is bitter sweet. Of the 30 or 40 attackers who contributed to the ending of Donald’s life, a minor and an adult were charged with misdemeanors; another minor was charged with manslaughter.

The adult is out on $500 bail.

At present, it doesn’t look like anyone is actually going to be given a fitting punishment for this crime.

I’ve said it before, I’ll said it again: Our speech is violence; their violence is speech. They can kill is with impunity and we aren’t even allowed to criticize them.
