Handing the keys to Jared Kushner on immigration and foreign policy probably wasn’t the best move Trump’s ever made as president.
As Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine prepare to shoot down “The Secretary of Everything’s” one-state Middle East “peace” proposal, one can’t help but wonder whether Trump still feels the juice was worth the squeeze with regard to hiring his daughter and son-in-law as senior advisers.
Jared is also working on a “comprehensive immigration proposal” with Lindsay Graham that is rumored to include amnesty for DACA recipients, though the chances of it getting tabled in the Senate are basically 100%.
I ask again: Has the juice been worth the squeeze, Mr. President?
We’ll also be talking about a new official statistic from the school system of Lewiston, Maine: 28% of enrolled students are “English language learners” who speak Somali, Arabic, or Swahili as a primary language.
