Wayfair employees staged a walkout yesterday over the company’s sale of furniture to the federal government for use in ICE detention facilities.
Yep, you read that right. They are depriving of migrants of beds because they’re outraged over migrants having to sleep on concrete floors. Not quite sure how that works but I’m not one to interrupt my enemy while he’s making a mistake. In fact, I think other companies should follow the example set by Wayfair’s employees and refuse to send resources to the these detention facilities.
I always thought rewarding invasion with its objective was a perverse incentive anyway. We’ll also be talking about the response of the console gaming companies to Trump’s tariffs, a dead climate bill in Oregon, and a militia member facing jail time for detaining migrants at the border.
