Voting to convict Trump and remove him from office? That comes as no surprise. We all expected that, Fox News hosts and Utah Republicans excepted. But for the billionaire Senator out of Utah to pretend like he had some spiritual crisis of conscience over it?
Spare us the theatrics and fake moral outrage, Mitt.
Where was your conscience when you were looting the state of Massachusetts, destroying its private healthcare system, and selling its residents into transgenerational debt? Where was your conscience when you were looting the pensions of the distressed companies you acquired through Bain Capital? Where was your conscience when you were waging lawfare against the Ron Paul campaign in 2012 that disenfranchised Republican voters in six or seven states?
The idea that Mitt Romney is somehow guided by a moral compass is foundationally fucking ridiculous.
