The Empire State building just got lit up like the Tower of Sauron.
Officials say it was to honor first responders, but most New Yorkers found the gesture unsettling given the degree to which the government is cracking down in the name of fighting the Wu Flu.
To be fair, the borders, airlines and interstates wouldn’t still be open if the government really gave a shit about stopping the virus, so I can kind of see where they’re coming from.
Meanwhile, the media is buzzing over the prospect of a new Bretton-Woods style convention, with some speculating that the Chinese yuan could emerge as the new world reserve currency. That would certainly explain why the GLOBALISTS are cozying up the Chinese, but I’m skeptical about whether the G20 group can come to a consensus on that.
