…did Trump just threaten to deputize the RWDS?

The Blue Checkmark Mafia is in an uproar over the fact that President Trump wouldn’t condemn wHiTe SooOpReeeeeemiSts or the Proud Boys last night during his debate with Biden, who was dragged over the finish line by Chris Wallace. When prompted by Biden and Wallace to disavow Charlottesville and the Proud Boys, Trump instead told the Proud Boys to “stand down and standby” before reiterating that “all the violence he has seen is on the left” and that “somebody needs to do something about Antifa.”

I couldn’t agree more.

Nobody thinks Chris Wallace did a good job, except for a couple of Ghislaine Maxwell’s friends. The right was displeased with the fact that he helped Biden dogpile Trump; the left was displeased that he let Trump talk at all. One Washington Post reporter said that a stun gun should have been used against the President to keep him in line.

In the words of Jake Tapper: “It was an absolute shitshow.”

Yeah, for Biden.
