One of the most interesting paradoxes about anti-capitalist agitators is that they defend the institutions they pretend to oppose. They say they oppose Wall Street and the banking system in one moment but defend fiat money printing in the next.
If you suggest that printing money from nothing steals the purchasing power of savers and workers, they passionately argue that monetary inflation doesn’t cause price inflation and that the latter is caused by the savers and workers themselves.
They blame the very people they claim to be acting in the interest of while giving the real culprits a complete and total pass. The system has failed the average person, and therefore they want to smash the average person.
It’s almost as though central banking is the fifth plank of the communist manifesto. It’s almost as if these Bolsheviks have delusions of grandeur whereby they envision themselves as potential central bankers.
