It turns out that contesting slates of electors in presidential elections used to be pretty standard fare shit and that Nancy Pelosi herself even did it before it was cool.
Apparently someone needed a pretext to reverse historical precedent and cast such contests as “attacks on democracy” so that they wouldn’t have to deal with uncomfortable questions about dead people and illegals voting. It’s pretty convenient for them that the January 6th “riot” happened…
