In theory, there’s nothing wrong with laborers organizing to exert collective bargaining power in negotiations with their employer(s). In practice, most labor unions achieve the opposite of their stated goals — wages are suppressed, workers are disenfranchised, and the political class is enriched through the devaluation of wages and savings.
Why does this tend to be the case?
Part of the problem is that most people still don’t understand basic economics. Part of the problem is the ubiquity of Marxist propaganda. Part of the problem is the interconnectedness between “too big to fail” labor unions and the Democrat party.
The fact that labor unions all support Joe Biden should tell you everything you need to know given that Joe Biden’s own personal fortune was built on the outsourcing and devaluation of domestic labor through fractional reserve central banking.
The idea that he or any other Democrat represents the common worker is foundationally fucking ridiculous.
